JPW built Straightline around one idea: real records for real bands, mixed and mastered by someone who is also a working musician, engineer and producer in rock, metal and alternative—30+ years in music, more than a decade behind the console.

The process is direct—understand the intent, make decisive calls, communicate clearly, and finish the record without draining the life out of it. Every mix runs through a hybrid workflow: REAPER, SSL and Slate Digital processing, a Soundcraft console and selected analog outboard—whatever the song needs, nothing it doesn't.

What format do you deliver in?

High-resolution WAV files, ready for release or for handing off to mastering.

Do you work with bands outside the US?

Yes. Straightline is fully remote and worldwide—tracks in, finished record out.

Not sure if your files are ready?
